File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a method of sending files over the Internet without having to send them as an Email attachment. The benefits are many. Files can be transferred at faster speeds and much larger sizes than what is commonly allowed as E-mail attachments.
The main part of FTP is the Server, a computer that is online at all times, ready to send or receive files at the client's request.
You may save the files into the "toogp" directory. If you are uploading multiple files, please create a folder or directory on the server to help organize these files.
Whenever files are uploaded to OGP's FTP site in the "toogp" directory, we ask that you provide our US office with the corresponding file names so we can instruct our Hong Kong office to download the relevant files as soon as possible.
OGP FTP site is also used to provide files to our clients. Those files would be placed into the "fromogp" directory for retrieval, and we would notify you of their availability to download.
Depending on your system, you may require additional software or programs to properly access our FTP sites. If you have difficulties or questions regarding our FTP site, please do not hesitate to contact us.
OGP also offers unique FTP accounts with directories that are password protected and inaccessible by other members of the service. If you would like to create an account, please contact OGP representative and they will assist you. |
